A limited liability company is just that.  It is a company that limits the liability of the owner and in this case it would be you.

What Is an LLC all about?

Basically an LLC limits your personal liability so if your business does something and gets into some kind of trouble, then the business is in trouble not you. 

LLCs are not just for small companies, some huge companies that you have heard of that were formed as llc’s include Pepsi-Cola, Sony, Nike, eBay, and even IBM!
